Carne Asado Tacos

 Who doesn't love tacos? I marinated my steak in oil, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and adobo. I chose blue corn tortillas and made crema by blending sour cream with canned chipotles. Lettuce, tomato, and some fried onions make them simple but tasty!

Chocolate Concorde Cake

I'm not going to post the whole recipe for this as it is very long and even involves a hairdryer! I made this for Easter lunch (with osso buco and risotto Milanese), I like to make it for special occasions. I'm going for a rustic feel because I've just moved house and haven't uncovered all of my pastry tools yet. I served it with some macerated strawberries, and have done raspberry coulis and vanilla ice cream in the past. The recipe is from the Pierre Herme chocolate cookbook!
