Bonfire Pie
This pie is made to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day, and is good hot or cold!
Combine 400g bread flour, 1 tsp chili powder, 5 tsp smoked paprika, 2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp baking powder. Rub in 50g of butter and 25 ml of olive oil. Bring together with an egg and about 100ml water. Rest for an hour.
Roll out half to a rectangle and fill and season. For the first layer add sliced potatoes baked in their skin and fresh thyme. Cover with salami and red onions roasted in their skins and sliced. Roll out second half of dough and cover and crimp the edges. Egg wash and cover with sea salt. Bake at 200C for 40 minutes.
